Busy and highly respected Tier 2 builder is looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team. The builder delivers projects across the Commercial, Data Centres, Student accommodation and Education sectors with construction values up to $500M.
Initial projects could be a $300M Data Centre or a $300M Commercial high‐rise in early stages.
Responsibilities
* Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements
* Provide input for financial reports to the Management Team
* Ensure site supervisory staff are aware of the project's scope of works and inclusions in tender packages
* Prepare tender documentation required for the procurement of sub‐contractors including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative tender analysis and recommendations
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub‐contractors, suppliers and consultants
* Liaise with client regarding progress claims to Head Contract
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
* Experience working on commercial projects
* Solid local experience as a Contracts Administrator
* Previous proven experience completing multiple projects start to finish
* Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts
* A working knowledge of major building trades
* Attitude is a must – the business values a close‐knit culture and does not want egos
* Have at least three years out of university
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
