Geological Expertise Wanted
We are seeking an experienced underground geologist to join our team. Our client is a gold producer currently developing underground mines in some of the most prolific gold regions in Western Australia.
About the Opportunity
This is a unique chance to contribute directly to mine growth and play a key role in shaping the site's geological and safety culture. Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for designing, supervising, and interpreting drill programmes that add value to existing resources while identifying the next viable ore bodies to extend mine life.
* FIFO from Perth or DIDO from surrounding areas.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in Geology (or equivalent)
* Strong experience in underground gold mining operations
* Competency in geological software: Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, Acquire
* Proven ability in grade control, QAQC, mapping, reconciliation, and reporting
* Experience mentoring junior geologists and leading a small technical team
