About the role
Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Full Time Physiotherapist for our Gracehaven Aged Care Service in Bundaberg. This role is based in Bundaberg, QLD however relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant.
As our Physiotherapist, you will:
* Deliver personalised physiotherapy services tailored to each resident's needs, goals, and care plans, in collaboration with nursing and allied health teams.
* Developing and maintaining comprehensive physiotherapy care plans that reflect assessment findings, treatment goals, and progress, ensuring alignment with best practice and aged care standards.
* Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary reviews to ensure holistic, resident-centred care.
* Leading and supporting manual handling programs, including training staff in safe and effective techniques, and modelling best practice in daily operations.
* Maintaining physiotherapy equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Staying current with aged care physiotherapy trends, participating in ongoing professional development, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the service.

As our Physiotherapist at Gracehaven Aged Care, you'll be more than a clinician—you'll be a trusted partner in our residents' health journeys. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you'll help older Australians maintain their independence, mobility, and dignity through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Our ideal candidate
* Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Possess a current National Police Check Certificate or the ability to obtain one
* Hold Australian Work Rights
