About the role
This full-time Building handyman position at H2O Broadwater in Southport, Queensland offers a unique opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining the company's facilities and ensuring a safe, well-functioning work environment. As part of the Property Services team, you will be responsible for the forklift operation and rubbish bin control and security on a daily bases assisting with the smooth operations of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out the placement of the rubbish bins for collection on a daily bases
* Perform regular security inspections of the premises to identify and address any issues or safety concerns
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities
* Respond promptly to emergency calls and take appropriate action
* Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a building handyperson role and security
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues
* Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of H2O Broadwater
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and external contractors
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to different sites as required
