The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused individual to take professional ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Maleny Dairies MilkBar. This is a hands-on part-time role required Wednesday, Thursday and Friday weekly. As the face of Maleny Dairies to visiting customers, the successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining strong control over stock, local business customer orders, factory direct sales and cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitating factory direct sales to the public
* Operating point of sale software (Square)
* Cash handling
* Stock management and internal ordering (fridge sales and business orders)
* Local business customer order fulfilment
* Invoicing local business customers
* Managing product donations
* Preparing and redeeming MilkBar product vouchers
* Customer service for MilkBar visitors including fielding product and general enquiries
* Routine cleaning of sales fridges, refrigerated container and MilkBar facilities
* Supporting the Customer Service and Communications Officer with wholesale enquiries, sample stock, product competition entries, donations, enquiries and generalised tasks as they arise
* Conducting monthly stocktake
About You
* Previous customer service role or retail experience preferred
* Friendly, professional and confident with customers
* Strong attention to detail, particularly with stock and maintaining strong financial control
* Able to work independently and follow structured processes
* Reliable and consistent in your approach to work
* Able to work within a team environment using clear communication
