Do you enjoy selling technical solutions in the biomedical industry? Have you used 3D medical modeling software? Do you enjoy helping people advance in medical device design and research? If so, you are just the person we're looking for! We have a great opportunity in our Australian office for a Business Developer.
* Act as an ambassador for the Materialise mission of making personalized medicine accessible through 3D planning and printing
* Manage sales to existing and new customers in the medical device industry within your region, following up on contacts and seeking new opportunities
* Collaborate with inside sales and application engineering teams
* Understand customer needs, create value, and promote our technology in medical hospitals and research groups
* Build a network with medical device companies and become a trusted advisor
* Take ownership of objectives and execute your daily plan
* Report to the General Manager of Australia and New Zealand
Your profile
* At least 3 years of experience in technical sales or business development
* Background in medical/healthcare is required
* Outgoing, motivated, and eager to learn
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to travel regularly
* Home-based with some onsite meetings, hybrid work acceptable
* Open to candidates across Australia; location in Queensland not necessary
