HCM Functional Consultant Your new company SAP SuccessFactors | Program Delivery | Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HCM Functional Delivery Lead to join a large-scale transformation program delivering a modern, future-fit Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. This role will play a critical leadership position within a complex enterprise program, overseeing the functional delivery of SAP SuccessFactors across multiple HR domains. Your new role Reporting into senior program leadership, you will lead and manage cross-functional delivery teams and external partners to ensure the successful design and implementation of HCM functional solutions. You will be accountable for end-to-end functional delivery, governance, stakeholder engagement and quality outcomes, while operating within lean, agile and waterfall delivery environments. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex, fast-moving programs and brings a strong balance of strategic oversight and delivery execution. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the functional design, build and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors solutions across the HCM program. Translate business strategy and objectives into clearly defined functional workstreams aligned to the overall program roadmap. Establish and maintain delivery governance, reporting structures, resource planning and delivery assurance. Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to achieve agreed milestones and outcomes. Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (agile, lean, waterfall) to drive successful outcomes. Manage vendor budgets, forecasting and cost control to ensure value for money and program sustainability. Identify and manage risks, issues, interdependencies and delivery challenges across the program. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation and issue management. Provide clear, concise reporting to program leadership and governance forums. Support continuous improvement through delivery monitoring, benefits realisation and quality management. What you'll need to succeed You are an experienced delivery leader with a strong background in enterprise HCM implementations, ideally within large and complex environments. You bring a collaborative leadership style and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders while guiding teams through ambiguity and change. You will demonstrate: Proven experience leading functional delivery within SAP SuccessFactors programs. Strong understanding of HR technology, HCM processes and system transformation. Experience working with multiple delivery methodologies (agile, lean and waterfall). Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities. Excellent communication, reporting and governance experience. The ability to manage competing priorities, tight timelines and complex dependencies.
