Business Development Managers play a critical role in driving growth and revenue for our organization.
Job Description
* Develop and execute business development strategies to meet or exceed defined targets by prospecting new opportunities and leveraging existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage own sales territory, achieve annual and quarterly signings and revenue target quotas, generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships and sales activity.
* Identify new, valuable and emerging companies, deploy a comprehensive array of sales techniques to find and close business to achieve or exceed target.
* Act as client point of contact, ensure on-going client satisfaction throughout sales process, work closely with internal operational departments to continually develop the value proposition.
* Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences and trade shows, manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving resources as appropriate.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in selling clinical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance solutions and complex services contracts into Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device markets.
* Drive for results, able to work effectively in a dynamic global matrix environment, ability to hunt for and close new business, sense of responsibility and diplomacy.
* Very good command of English, excellent communication and presentation skills essential, ability to travel within your selected territory and globally when required.
