Multiple positions available: Chef, Cook and Kitchen Hand
What you'll do:
Working in our Resort bistro, you'll support the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality meals by providing either cooking or non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area. On a daily basis you will:
* Under the direction of the Head Chef, undertake cooking duties to a consistently high standard.
* Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery
* Cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant
* Assist colleagues who are cooking including assembling and preparing ingredient
What you'll bring:
* A good attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
* Genuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produce
* Demonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skills
* An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
* Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations.
* A genuine passion for your craft, with the ability to create and present contemporary dishes (Chef)
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team and engage with colleagues.
* Formal qualifications in commercial cookery (Chef)
* Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
