Senior Payroll Officer – Permanent
Location: Near Hawthorn, VIC. Salary: $110K + Superannuation.
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join a well‐run and organised payroll process based near Hawthorn. The role requires someone bright, energetic, with a desire to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
* End‐to‐end high volume payroll processing on a fortnightly basis as part of a team.
* Administer and process payroll, managing the payroll service desk enquiries and incoming calls.
* Interpret relevant awards, multiple enterprise bargaining agreements.
* Construct reports and provide payroll/HR insights.
* Manage system issues promptly in line with company standards and policies.
* Step up and support the Payroll Manager whenever required.
Qualifications & Skills
* Aurion and/or SuccessFactors system experience is highly desirable.
* 7–8 years of end‐to‐end payroll processing experience.
* Strong Excel skills – pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
* Understanding, interpreting and applying relevant legislation.
* Calculation of payroll tax and superannuation.
