About the Role
As a Consultant, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients—from large privately owned enterprises to dynamic corporate groups—providing expert guidance on tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
* Gain exposure to a broad range of industries while delivering corporate tax advisory services, enhancing your strategic and technical expertise.
* Strengthen your compliance knowledge and attention to detail through the preparation and review of income tax returns, activity statements, and financial reports.
* Build capability in financial interpretation by assisting with tax effect accounting and reporting for corporate entities, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
* Develop commercial acumen and contribute to high-impact business decisions by supporting clients through restructures, acquisitions, and divestments.
* Expand your internal network and cross-functional knowledge by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across BDO to deliver integrated solutions.
* Grow your leadership and communication skills while mentoring and coaching junior team members, helping to foster a high-performing team culture.
What You'll Bring
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or similar
* CA qualification (completed or in progress)
* Experience in a public practice environment, ideally in corporate tax
* Strong understanding of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
* A passion for continuous learning and professional growth
