Perth Racing (the trading name of the West Australian Turf Club) is the premier thoroughbred racing club in WA, operating both Ascot and Belmont Park racecourses. As a multi-faceted racing, entertainment and event business, we stage more than 90 race meetings per year, including Melbourne Cup Day at Ascot, Perth Cup, the Pinnacles series and The Quokka.
The role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated sales and client relationship management professional to manage and drive our business development strategy.
A results-oriented self-starter, with an agile and innovative approach, you will thrive on the challenge of prospecting across new markets, as you consistently identify and convert leads to achieve agreed KPIs across Race Day and Non-Race Day profit centres.
Composing bespoke tender documents and client proposals, you will utilise the Perth Racing CRM to meet business needs, maintaining relevant data sets for stakeholder reference with focus and transparency.
You will anticipate both prospect and client motivations, track market trends and use data to demonstrate the Perth Racing value proposition. Comprehensive forecasting, reporting and analysis will be key components of this role.
This role suits an influential relationship-builder who enjoyshaving commercial conversations, working towards sales targets, identifying opportunities, making outbound calls, finding solutions for clients and closing a deal.
