Job Opportunity:

Echuca Engineering is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator Welder to join their dynamic team.
\
Key Responsibilities:
\
* Perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication tasks with precision and attention to detail.
\
* Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications to ensure accurate workmanship.
\
* Assist with general workshop duties, including machine operation and assembly work, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
\
* Work on custom fabrication projects that require problem-solving and creative thinking.
\
* Foster a culture of workplace safety by adhering to established procedures and protocols.
\
* Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed, ensuring transparency and accountability.
\
Requirements:
\
* Qualified Welder or currently a 2nd/3rd Year Welding/Fabrication Apprentice.
\
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
\
* Strong mechanical aptitude, with a commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
\
* Good work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
\
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
\
* Skills and experience with fabrication machines and tools, including MIG/TIG welding.
\
* Previous welding/fabrication experience, with apprentices welcome who have workshop exposure.
\
* Forklift or other tickets advantageous but not essential.
\
