The opportunity
We are seeking a CEC/SAA Accredited Solar Electrician to join our team at GWD' in Melbourne, VIC 3000. This exciting full-time role will see you work on the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar power systems, playing a key part in our mission to provide sustainable energy solutions to our growing customer base.
Key responsibilities
* Safely install, test and commission solar PV systems according to Australian Standards and CEC guidelines
* Perform maintenance and fault-finding on existing solar power systems
* Liaise with customers to understand their energy needs and provide expert advice
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within agreed timelines
* Maintain detailed records and documentation of all installations and service work
* Assist with the training and mentoring of junior electricians as required
What we're looking for
* A current CEC and SAA accreditation as a solar electrician
* Minimum 1 years' experience in the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems
* Strong knowledge of electrical theory, safety regulations and industry best practices
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
* A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
* A current driver's licence and your own vehicle
