We are seeking a talented Diesel Mechanic - Workshop (2/1 FIFO) to join our team, specializing in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across various product applications at our Port Hedland branch. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work either on a 2:1 Roster from Perth or locally in Port Hedland in our busy workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional service to customers across multiple industries, including mining, automotive, and power generation.
* Perform breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance of heavy diesel products.
* Diagnose and repair various engines.
* Engage in engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
* Maintain adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to the Field Service Supervisor.
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Requirements:
* Holding Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, meeting Australian standards.
* Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products in field service, with preference given to Cummins engines.
* Possess solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
* Previous experience working in the Pilbara region is highly desirable.
