Electrical Design Expert
We seek a seasoned Electrical Engineer to spearhead the design of high-voltage substations and transmission systems for renewable projects.
This key role involves leading modelling studies, providing grid connection expertise, and supporting technical negotiations.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
* 15+ years of experience in HV substation engineering
* Proficiency in PowerFactory / ETAP / PSCAD software
* Deep understanding of NER and Australian Standards
* Experience with renewable grid connection projects
Main Responsibilities
* Design high-voltage substations and switchyards
* Conduct system studies (load flow, short circuit, etc.)
* Support R1/R2 testing and GPS submissions
* Review vendor submittals and Factory Acceptance Tests
* Mentor junior power systems engineers
