Hays has partnered with a reputable local government organisation to recruit a Team Leader for their Accounts Payable team, based at their Waterside East office in Bundall, Gold Coast
Your New Role
Join this local government organisation as a Team Leader in their Accounts Payable team. This is an immediate start, temporary role for 3 months with a possibility of extension. You will be responsible for:
* Allocating the daily workload schedule across available officers.
* Monitoring invoice work items and redirecting, reassigning, and prioritising where required.
* Investigating complex accounts payable issues.
* Training and assisting staff.
* Reporting performance.
* Managing staff timesheets and leave requests.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Experience in SAP and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management.
* Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within Accounts Payable.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
