About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the responsibility of maintaining and improving our Integrated Management System (IMS) across safety, quality, and environment.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
* Maintain and update procedures, forms, templates, and records.
* Develop and implement policies and safe work instructions.
* Coordinate internal audits and external certification audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and continuously improve our IMS to ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 requirements.
2. Own document control, including procedures, forms, templates, version control, and record keeping.
3. Develop, review, and roll out WHS, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and safe work instructions.
4. Plan, coordinate, and close out the internal audit program, including follow-up actions and evidence.
5. Prepare for and support external certification and surveillance audits.
6. Monitor WHS legislation, regulations, Codes of Practice, and client requirements, and translate them into practical controls and updates to our IMS.
7. Maintain compliance registers, including risk, legal, and other obligations.
8. Coordinate WHS and compliance reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, and board-level summaries.
9. Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and ensure corrective and preventative actions are documented, implemented, and verified.
10. Maintain training, license, medical, and competency records and support our induction and onboarding processes.
11. Support prequalification, tender, and client audit responses from a WHS and compliance perspective.
About You
You should be a structured, organized individual who enjoys getting paperwork right. You should be comfortable working in a role where most of your impact comes from strong systems, tidy records, and consistent follow-up.
You Will Bring
* Experience in a WHS, HSEQ, compliance, or IMS coordinator or manager role, ideally in civil construction, transport, mining, or related industries.
* A solid knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations in Western Australia and how they apply in a practical site context.
* Hands-on experience managing or maintaining systems aligned to ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001.
* Proven experience with internal audits, non-conformity management, and continuous improvement.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Excellent written communication, with a focus on clear procedures, forms, and instructions.
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach to document control and record keeping.
* Confident stakeholder skills, able to follow up actions and hold people accountable respectfully.
