Founded in 2015, Impact Seed is WA's leading market builder for impact investment, measurement and social enterprise. We are in the business of systems‐change finance and entrepreneurship, with a range of programs to build social enterprise capacity, open up access to capital for social and First Nations enterprises, and advise governments and businesses on how to optimise their social investment strategies and outcomes.
Our diverse, highly capable team of 8 professionals is looking to augment our practice with an Executive Assistant to manage a wide range of administrative, finance, resource planning and other support needs.
About the role
Impact Seed is looking for an adaptable, organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the organisation to run with greater focus and efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with Executive Director (Investment) to ensure we have well‐functioning business systems, good logistics and production support for our team, and effective resource planning and management.
In particular, the Executive Officer will:
* Administer finance and payroll systems
* Help produce client and public communications with impact
* Ensure other office infrastructure is fit‐for‐purposes
* Assist the team in workflow management and planning
* Assist in developing Board and funder reports, and facilitate meetingsOrganise external workshops and other events
* Depending on interest, capabilities and time: scope to undertake additional tasks, such as research, business development, marketing, communications, and policy & procedure development.
Desired skillset / selection criteria
* Confidence with finance and organisational systems, including Xero and Office365 applications
* A proactive, highly organised professional mindset, able to adapt to a broad range of tasks and priorities
* Document / graphic design and production ability a strong plus
* Experience or demonstrated proficiency with basic finance and IT administration functions
* Clear and accurate communication verbally and in writing
* Experience in a social enterprise, philanthropic or finance setting beneficial but not required
Remuneration and terms
* 6‐month part‐time role of approximately 0.5 FTE, with specifics open to negotiation. (eg school hours roster, or 2‐3 days per week). Flexible and family‐friendly work environment, including working from home arrangements.
* Salary of $80K plus super per annum (pro rata); negotiable depending on skill set and experience
* Salary packaging available, as Impact Seed is a registered charity and PBI.
