Early Intervention Specialist
This is a rewarding career in early childhood intervention, where you will work with families and children to achieve their goals. As an Early Years Specialist, you will deliver supports and empower families, caregivers, and professionals to build skills and confidence.
* Deliver support options, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals, using evidence-informed best practices.
* Utilize assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support strategies that fit each child and family.
* Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using coaching skills.
* Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
* Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in a business system.
* Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
You will be working in the Goulburn, Queanbeyan, and Eurobodalla region, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time from home, from our office, or within the community.
