This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and completeness of all revenue-related activities within the P&L and balance sheet for the Hanes Australasia group.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close & Financial ReportingOversee timely completion of month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet analysis to support financial reporting.Revenue Accounting OversightManage sub-ledger revenue accounting, including accounts receivable, credit management, and claims management.Collaborate with in-business commercial teams to align financial strategies.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop the revenue accounting team, fostering skill enhancement.Implement system and process improvements to drive efficiency and quality.Audit LiaisonCoordinate with external and internal auditors to facilitate audits.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Financial Analysis & ReportingConduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.Present financial information clearly to business leaders for performance evaluation.Forecasting & BudgetingSupport the development and monitoring of revenue forecasts and budgets.Provide insights to inform strategic financial planning.What experience/skills do I have?Experience in an accounting role, within a large corporate environment or newly qualified from big 4A degree in accounting or financeCA or CPA qualifiedAdvanced Stakeholder ManagementExperience in a role with at least one direct reportExcel, advanced levelExperience working with a large accounting system, preferably JD EdwardsAbility to problem solve and analyse complex dataCritical thinking and continuous improvement mindsetWhat's in it for me?Amazing working culture, structured training & development programs, genuine internal career pathways … love coming to work!Huge staff discounts!
