About the team
Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in DCS that is leading the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services to allow our people to better focus on their customers and delivering their services.
We are developing and delivering a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100+ agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.
What you will do
* Manage ICT stock which is provided to customers and service providers, including warehousing and the receiving and dispatching of goods to maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely availability of ICT assets.
* Perform adds, moves, and changes in the DCS ICT Asset systems to maintain up-to-date asset records and support business continuity.
* Monitor request queues and action tickets as required in a timely and efficient manner to ensure service requests are resolved quickly, enhancing customer satisfaction.
* Contribute to the development of operational processes relating to ICT Assets to improve efficiency, compliance, and standardisation of asset management practices.
* Identify opportunities for service improvements in asset management activities to support a positive customer experience and deliver optimal service outcomes.
* Liaise regularly with DCS technology service providers to ensure effective coordination and smooth delivery of ICT services.
* Support projects and strategic deployments across NSW Centres, including travel to metro and regional locations, to ensure effective deployments of all ICT assets within the portfolio, including mobile devices.
About You
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in:
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey instructions to a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Proven experience delivering client-focused ICT Asset services within a ServiceNow environment.
* Demonstrated experience in ICT Asset Management, with exposure to ICT Asset logistical operations.
* Collaborative professional adept in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Solid understanding in Microsoft Office with a particular strength in MS Teams and Excel.
* Willingness to be flexible and work from multiple office locations when required.
