Construction Services Professional
The Opportunity
Ventia seeks a qualified Construction Services Professional to deliver essential maintenance services under the AGFMA contract at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This hands-on position involves reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor modifications across hospital facilities ensuring safe and functional environments.
The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement provides facilities management services to over 5,000 government-owned sites across South Australia. Ventia works in partnership with local businesses to deliver these services 365 days a year, supporting communities statewide.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, working Monday to Friday.
Job Description
Carry out construction tasks within specified timeframes and quality standards, based on drawings, templates, and instructions. Diagnose faults and perform repairs, maintenance, and minor modifications in line with safety and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic documentation uploaded to company systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Current White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
