**Bid Writer (Valuations)**

**What can you expect?**

The role is suitable for someone looking to support Bid Management or with strong communication, writing and organisational skills.

Forming part of Marsh is the specialist valuation practice undertaking valuations of property, infrastructure, plant, and equipment assets throughout the Pacific for public and private sector clients. A career opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become a Bid Writer for the Valuations team.

The individual will support the business through assisting in preparing tender responses, proposals and associated prospect materials (e.g. meeting collateral, presentations). The role also includes ongoing activities to develop and maintain the Valuations team to support infrastructure, documents, and materials.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Assisting in the Preparation of tender responses, proposals, and other client prospect pitch materials.
- Coordinating internal stakeholders, facilitating meetings and effective utilisation of internal resources (e.g. graphic design);
- Prepare competitive proposals and tender responses, includes writing, compiling and editing content to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with value proposition and 'win themes';
- Support client presentations through development and production of ongoing message deliverables;
- Assist with the development of tender infrastructure and supporting documentation, including the ongoing maintenance of standard content;
- Be willing to work across all client bases of Marsh business - Public Sector as well as corporate accounts;
- Manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and work under pressure with reliability to ensure deadlines are met through effective time management;
- Build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation, both locally and nationally;

**We would like you to have**:

- Ideally have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field e.g. Business Communications or Marketing
- Demonstrate 2-5 years relevant experience in a role involving communications or administrative duties with a high degree of document writing;
- Organisational and logístical mindset allowing you to multi-task
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Have advanced skill level with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint;
- Demonstrate finely tuned client (internal) service skills;
- Ability to work in Australia
- Be a motivated self-starter focused on achieving results;
- Occasional interstate travel maybe required.
