About This Role
As a Senior Pharmacist within the Princess Alexandra Hospital Pharmacy team and the Metro South Integrated Nephrology & Transplant Services (MINTS), you will deliver high-level, evidence-based pharmacy services for patients receiving kidney and transplant care.
You'll work as part of a highly skilled interprofessional team, contribute to service innovations, and support the development of emerging clinicians.
In This Role, You Will
Provide specialist kidney and transplant pharmacy services, including clinical assessment, intervention and evaluation.
Act as a clinical reference point across nephrology, transplant, and PAH Pharmacy, applying advanced clinical judgement with increasing independence.
Lead or contribute to evidence-based practice development, quality improvement and research initiatives.
Supervise and support junior pharmacists, students and allied health assistants in their clinical growth.
About You
You are a collaborative and motivated pharmacist with strong clinical expertise in kidney disease, transplant care or complex medicine management.
You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and are committed to delivering safe, patient-centred care while continuously improving clinical services.
You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in providing advanced clinical pharmacy services, ideally within nephrology or transplant care.
High-level communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, carers and clinical partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including adaptation of practice based on emerging evidence.
Experience contributing to service improvement, policy development or research activities.
