We currently have an opportunity for a Field Auditor to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant delivery across our essential contracts. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Conducting planned site inspections to validate the quality, safety, and compliance of maintenance and refurbishment works.Documenting findings thoroughly, ensuring adherence to Australian Standards, contractual requirements, and Downer procedures.Supporting continuous improvement by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to uplift service delivery.Building positive, collaborative relationships with subcontractors, tenants, and internal teams to achieve high-quality results.Representing Downer as a subject matter expert in maintenance compliance and contributing to quality assurance You'll Bring
Trade experience, ideally including building, refurbishment, and residential environments.Strong understanding of compliance requirements and Australian Standards relevant to construction, maintenance, and service delivery.Experience conducting field-based audits or inspections with an eye for quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence, support, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently across varied environments.More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
