Surveyor Lead Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor Lead to oversee survey operations and provide technical direction to the direct-hire survey team.
The Surveyor Lead will be responsible for the accurate layout of construction work, recordation of field data according to job specifications.
The position requires experience in heavy construction/industrial surveying, knowledge of engineering and construction methods, and proficiency with survey CAD software.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the oversight of all survey operations and provide technical direction to the survey team.
* Responsible for the accurate layout of construction work, recordation of field data according to job specifications.
* Perform and/or check survey computations as required and provide project completion documentation.
Requirements
* Engineering degree and 9 years of experience in heavy construction/industrial surveying.
* Multi-disciplined field engineering survey experience with earthwork, excavation, concrete, structural steel, mechanical, and piping installation layout and verification.
* Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to industrial surveying field & office activities.
