We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our growing therapy team. Our organisation provides evidence-based, neuro-affirming supports to autistic and neurodivergent individuals, children, families, and people living with disability under the NDIS. We are also committed to delivering mental health supports, including counselling and therapy, to help clients strengthen resilience, wellbeing, and coping skills.
Responsibilities
* Conduct diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other psychological/developmental conditions.
* Conduct a wide range of psychological assessments to inform clinical understanding and recommendations.
* Develop and implement individualised intervention plans tailored to client needs and NDIS goals.
* Provide counselling and therapeutic support for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and other mental health challenges.
* Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions to children, adolescents, and/or adults.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals (ABA therapists, OT, PBS practitioners).
* Prepare professional reports, treatment plans, and NDIS-related documentation.
* Support clients in building emotional regulation, coping strategies, and functional life skills.
* Maintain professional and ethical practice in line with AHPRA standards and NDIS guidelines.
Requirements
* Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Experience in diagnostic assessments (ASD, ADHD, learning and developmental conditions).
* Demonstrated ability to create effective, individualised intervention plans.
* Experience providing counselling and therapy across mental health and disability contexts.
* Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and professional report writing.
* Experience working within disability and/or NDIS settings (preferred).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
