Rimfire Energy is looking for driven Commercial Sales and Business Development consultants to join our team in Darwin City. These roles play a crucial part in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships across Rimfire Group’s portfolio in the NT. 
Responsibilities 
- Plan, Direct, or Coordinate the sales and business development activities of Rimfire Energy’s commercial electricity retail, solar and project services to existing and prospective customers. 
- Contact new and existing commercial customers to determine their energy needs, review their electricity consumption profile, estimate savings based on Rimfire Energy’s products and services. 
- Report on market trends, and policy changes impacting energy adoption. 
- Close new sales, follow through on post connection to ensure high customer service levels are maintained and seek referrals. 
- Recontract existing customers on electricity sales agreement on terms and conditions acceptable to Rimfire Energy. 
- Prepare proposals, tenders, quotes, contacts, or presentations for potential customers. 
- Support, maintain and demonstrate a proactive and ongoing commitment to Rimfire Energy’s Health, Safety and Environment systems as well as the Quality Management Systems (HSE/QMS). 
Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to work well in a team and independently. 
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask. 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
- Strong initiative and willingness to learn.

- Proactive approach to challenges and problem-solving. 
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
- Pervious sales experience and basic understanding of energy desirable but not essential. 
Qualifications 
- Certificate in Sales, Business or Marketing would enhance the candidate application, however, not essential.
