**Our team & opportunity**
We currently have an opportunity for a Client Communications Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team at Vanguard Australia. This role is a single point dependency for Vanguard Australia's planned and unplanned client communications for Personal Investor clients and Financial Advisers.
In this role you will support the strategy, content development, approval, and execution of regulatory, service, and operational communications, as well as Investment Product change communications.
Additionally, the role is responsible for the management of a range of unitholder notices that are elevated to the FAS and Direct Investment websites on a monthly and quarterly basis.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement cohesive strategies for communicating initiatives and events that are aligned to business outcomes.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to resolve unplanned business and external events that may pose reputational risks to Vanguard.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance the effectiveness of communications and its ability to execute on business objectives.
- Manage and deploy a range of critical unitholder notices to the Financial Adviser Services (FAS) and Direct Investment websites on a regular basis.
- Maintains strong knowledge of Vanguard's business structure, strategy, and product offering. Continually builds awareness of business competitors, keeps current with financial services and legal environments.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
**Specialisations that will make an impact**
- Minimum three to five years' experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Undergraduate degree in Communications/journalism/marketing or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical writing experience desirable)
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, and meet regular deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanour
- Displays initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong ability to problem solve and the ability to prioritise business initiatives
