Your Impact
As a Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering technical project work and services in accordance with contract, quality, and HSE requirements. You’ll contribute to the design, development, testing, commissioning, and support of industrial automation systems and digital solutions.
Responsibilities
* Understand project/service contract scope
* Assist in project/service planning and task estimation
* Contribute to specifications, functional descriptions, and manuals
* Implement solutions/projects/services and develop documentation
* Ensure compliance with quality procedures and manage individual priorities
* Perform onsite project/service work and report variations and risks
* Maintain technical skills and contribute to innovation and process improvement
* Manage customer expectations and relationships professionally
* Comply with company standards, QMS requirements, and governance policies
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology
* Eligible for Engineers Australia membership (MIEAust, TIEAust, AIEAust, or Chartered)
* 4+ years of experience in industrial automation engineering (including digital solutions and networking) and/or telemetry and/or information management system projects and/or services
* Minimum 500 hours of customer/site experience
* Advanced understanding of various Schneider platforms and a general understanding of the whole Industry product offer, or equivalent competitor products
* Sufficient domain experience to competently interpret process descriptions and to develop technical DSS/FDS and system designs
* Detailed knowledge of theory relevant to position (process control, telemetry, digital solutions and communication/info system)
* A growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitude
* Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
