Your Role at Resolve
This is a hands-on, client-facing role for an Associate Solicitor who is ready to grow, contribute, and deliver high-quality work within a supportive, collaborative structure. Reporting to the Legal Team Manager, you'll provide accurate legal advice, represent clients with integrity, and help them stay grounded in what truly matters. You'll work closely with colleagues across legal, administrative, and client support functions to deliver seamless, holistic care at every step. You'll also have opportunities to shape your professional profile, contribute to business development, and participate in initiatives that support both your growth and the evolution of the firm. And above all, you'll practise in line with the Resolve Way - combining clarity, empathy, courage, and professionalism in everything you do.
Your Week at a Glace
* Contributing to family law matters alongside peers and senior colleagues, taking on responsibilities that align with your growing level of experience and development.
* Drafting and settling court documents, agreements, correspondence, and advice
* Representing clients in negotiation, mediation, and court
* Collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
* Staying current with legal changes and compliance requirements
* Referring clients to trusted support services within our network
* Contributing to precedent development and firm-wide initiatives
* Participating in marketing, referrer engagement, and brand-building activities
* Managing your own billing, file responsibilities, and compliance
* Attending team meetings, CPD sessions, and professional development events
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent
* Minimum 2+ years' post-admission family law experience
* Current practising certificate and sound working knowledge of family law processes
* A developing ability to manage matters from initial consult through to resolution, with appropriate guidance and collaboration as needed
* Strong drafting skills and exceptional attention to detail
* Experience with LEAP or similar systems
* Comfortable using digital tools for file management and time recording
* Solid billable hour focus with a track record of meeting expectations
* Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
