This role has been designed to expand Mai-Wel's successful Parent Pathways program, supporting parents and carers facing complex challenges to achieve education, employment, and life goals.

The Mai-Wel Group has been providing a diverse range of disability and community services to residents of the Hunter Valley for over 65 years. What began as a group of local families coming together to provide education and opportunity to their children has today developed into a thriving organisation, supporting more than 1,500 participants across seven Local Government areas.
The Opportunity
As Senior Mentor, you'll manage a caseload, providing person-centred, intensive case management while also promoting the Parent Pathways program across the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver intensive, person-centred case management to parents with complex needs, using strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
* Mentor and coach parents and carers in overcoming vocational and non-vocational barriers to achieve their goals.
* Build and maintain community connections with employers, schools and services to create pathways.
* Manage compliance, administration and reporting requirements using ESS Web, JobReady and MS Office.
* Promote the Parent Pathways program to stakeholders and contribute to quality and audit outcomes.
About You
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring
* A Diploma level qualification in Community Services, Mental Health, Business, HR, Youth or related field (or currently undertaking).
* Experience in Employment Services or Community Services, highly regarded
* Experience in case management
* Strong interpersonal, coaching and problem solving skills.
* Proficiency with computer systems and documentation.
* Personal experience overcoming challenges, or as a parent or carer, bringing the ability to genuinely connect with and inspire participants.
