We require a full-time stock feed Mill Hand who is self motivated for our equine feed manufacturing plant at Ebenezer. Overtime available.
Your duties will include machine operation, packing, stacking and maintenance. Ideally you will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, however, consideration will be given to those who have a proven work record and are looking for secure employment. You will need your own reliable transport and mobile phone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Keep maintenance of all equipment up to date and ensure machinery is working at peak capacity
* Follow all health and safety procedures to retain a safe working environment for all staff
* Organisation of the daily inflow and outflow of material and final product
Skills and Qualities:
* Experience in the feed milling industry and exposure to feed milling equipment would be an advantage but not essential
* Forklift license preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer skills an advantage but not essential, training provided
* Desire to work as part of a team
* Capable of multi-tasking and working efficiently to ensure daily targets are met
* On the job training will be given to the successful applicant
