Join to apply for the Manager Communications and Engagement role at NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and WaterJoin to apply for the Manager Communications and Engagement role at NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and WaterDo you want your work to make a difference for NSW?Working to protect the state’s environment and heritage.Temporary opportunity to 31 December 2026Full-time role - 35 hours per week + FlexTimeAny NSW office location - regional location encouraged/hybrid working supportedSalary ranges from $145,378.00 to $168,130.00 + super + leave loadingThe Water Group is seeking to appoint a Manager Communications and Engagement to leadthe development and delivery of strategic communications and engagement activities for the NSW Government’s Reconnecting River Country Program, as well as other priority Water Group programs and projects as required.Working closely with the Water Group executive, the role manages the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the program’s broader communications and engagement strategies and activities.Managing a small team, the role also works closely with a range of program teams, and other teams across the department, to help ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to external communications and engagement.This role will go to December 2026 and will require regular travel throughout the southern NSW / Riverina region (at least once a month for several nights).For more information read the full Role Description: Manager Communications and EngagementWho we areThe Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water(DCCEEW) works to protect the state’s environment and heritage.
