Macmahon is currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced IT Support Officer to join our Service Desk team.
About the role
* Be the first point of contact and assist end users (employees, alliance members, contractors and stakeholders) to maximise the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Macmahon's technology services.
* Resolve incidents and complete service requests, escalating high priority issues to specialised support groups as required.
* Maintain ongoing communications with end users to provide updates, verify resolution and improve satisfaction with Macmahon's technology services.
* Diagnose and resolve computer hardware issues, software malfunctions, printer, or peripheral issues.
* IT onboarding activities such as PC imaging, initial user setup, account creation and administration.
* Maintenance and co-ordination of IT assets.
* Assist in planning and executing IT projects including implementation of new technology solutions, infrastructure changes, and software deployment.
About you
* Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
* 2 – 3 years of experience in technical support/service desk role.
* Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, MS Exchange, and supporting Windows 10/11.
* Strong knowledge of IP addressing, firewalls, Remote Desktop.
* Experience with supporting AV/Meeting rooms and mobile device management (MDM).
* Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded.
