Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse in the Special Care Nursery, you'll deliver advanced, evidence-based neonatal care and provide clinical leadership within a holistic, multidisciplinary team by:
* Delivering advanced clinical assessment, planning and coordination of neonatal patient care.
* Practising autonomously while providing clinical leadership, mentoring and support to the nursing team.
* Managing complex care needs and applying critical thinking to guide clinical decision-making.
* Supporting unit activities including shift coordination, portfolio responsibilities and quality improvement initiatives.
* Contributing to research, clinical audits and evidence-based practice improvements across the service.
About you:
You are an experienced neonatal clinician who leads with integrity and compassion, bringing advanced clinical skills and a strong commitment to family-centred care, supported by:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
* Demonstrated advanced neonatal assessment and complex care skills.
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and clinical leadership abilities.
* Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to support safe, high-quality patient care.
* A commitment to continuous learning, reflective practice and supporting the development of others.
* Willingness to work all shifts aligned to the unit roster.
