Equipment Maintenance Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
* Diagnoses and rectifies equipment issues
* Calibrates and aligns equipment components
* Carries out preventative maintenance activities
* Checks sizing of parts and components
* Specifies, requisitions, and installs spare parts and equipment
* Coordinates maintenance supplies with MRO coordinators
* Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through Gatekeeper and Activity Coordinator input
* Sets up and calibrates, tests, measures and repairs all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables
* Repairs, maintains and installs machinery and equipment used in the process
* Works within established maintenance work processes and helps resolve operational issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work
Key Responsibilities:
* Repairing and maintaining equipment and machinery
* Coordinating maintenance activities with other teams
* Ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks
* Collaborating with colleagues to improve maintenance processes
* Providing exceptional customer service and support
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
* Diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or related field
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lift 25 kg and work at heights
* Effective communication and team collaboration skills
