Their mining clients are pressing ahead with the construction of vital infrastructure projects and so have two IMMEDIATE permanent vacancies for S26 EARTHWORKS SUPERVISORS on remote West Australian sites.
About the Role
As EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR you will coordinate and allocate crews, machinery and resources and oversee the daily activity on site during construction of a heavy bulk earthworks scope of works related to minesite projects in remote WA. You will drive an injury free safety culture and ensure OSH compliance across the site. You will be working on a 2/1 FIFO roster ex-Perth giving you a full week break for your down time. You will be rewarded with a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $215K + Super which in the current environment is extremely appealing.
Experience, Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
* 5-10 years' experience as an EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR on minesite BULK EARTHWORKS projects in WA's Pilbara or Goldfields while employed by civil contractors
* S26 Supervisors Certification (*Essential)
* Proven success as an EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR on major mining earthworks projects managing civil construction teams and effective utilization of plant and equipment to achieve project milestones
* Proven experience on BULK EARTHWORKS projects such as minesite establishment, access roads, rail formation, embankments, TSFs, Turkey's Nests and pads, or similar
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills to liaise at all levels with various stakeholders
* IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE and currently Perth based to undertake FIFO 2/1 roster ex Perth
* Able to pass pre-employment medical and DAS screening
* Clean current WA driver's license
* Existing rights to live and work in Australia
