Job Summary: The Department Head assists administrators and teachers with acting as a liaison between the administration and teachers in an effort to write and implement curriculum within the department. The Department Head also acts as a mentor for new teachers, assists in their department's growth, training, and relays information received from the administrators during department meetings held at minumun once a month.
Requirements
* Has been teaching ELAfor 5 years or longer- preferred
* Has proven experience with technology
