About the Job 
Reporting to the Area Coach, the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) manages a Taco Bell restaurant within company policies and guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction and profit maximisation. 
The RGM performs hands-on work to train employees, respond to customer service needs, and model appropriate behaviours in the restaurant. 
This role provides overall leadership through building a culture of recognition while motivating the team toward operational excellence. 
The Day-to-Day 
Build People Capability 
Drives culture, problem solves, resolves conflicts, communicates and motivates to drive results through others 
Recruit and equip high quality operators to deliver great customer experiences 
Build a healthy and robust bench of developed and capable Managers and Team Members 
Leads performance management process for all employees in their restaurant 
Lead by example - be a culture champion and live by Taco Bell HUNGRY principles: Hungry, Understanding, Never Follow, Grateful, Relentless, and Youthful 
Leverage culture and people capability to fuel brand performance 
Provides leadership and coaching, developing Managers and Team Members 
Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience 
Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs 
Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by promoting safe work behaviours 
Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labour and ordering food and supplies for a restaurant with typical revenue ranges and daily transactions 
Ensure local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met 
Resolve serious customer issues and train managers to meet or exceed service standards 
Utilise insights from customer programs to elevate the customer experience and meet customer satisfaction targets 
Track, analyse and identify root causes of customer complaints and lead the team to implement solutions and performance improvements 
Build SMART action plans to resolve issues 
Monitor Speed with Service (SWS) and coach unit management to meet performance targets 
Grow the Brand, Sales and Profits 
Control Profit & Loss by managing cash, inventory, labour, and financial reporting 
Maintain equipment, facilities and grounds through a Preventative Maintenance Plan 
Review store capital expenditure requests and manage vendor relationships for scale 
Maintain facilities and equipment to Taco Bell standards; coordinate upgrades or replacements 
Analyse sales, labour and controllables and coach on actions to meet margin and sales targets 
Develop and deliver unit-specific Annual Operating Plan with the management team 
Is this you? 
2-4 years of operational management experience in Quick Service Restaurant or retail with Profit & Loss responsibility 
Basic business math and accounting skills and strong analytical/decision-making abilities 
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 
Effective communication skills with robust interpersonal and team-building capabilities 
Experience in leadership, coaching and developing employees 
Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction

Salary Range £11 per hour to £22 per hour annually + bonus eligibility + benefits 
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. 
Pay will be determined based on location, experience, and other job-related factors.
