About the Role
We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Banquet Team Leader to work in our Food and Beverage Conference and Outlets. The Food & Beverage Banquet Team Leader is responsible for providing 5 Star customer service to our guests. Working closely with the Food & Beverage and Banquet Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring all guests receive an exceptional restaurant experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* A proactive hands-on approach to drive and motivate a successful team.
* Ensure all staff are performing at their full potential, maximum productivity and are consistent across all areas of service.
* Build strong relationships within the Food & Beverage team.
* A high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Hotel Environment.
* Must have an RSA Certificate.
* Must hold valid working rights in Australia.
* The flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays across a 7-day rotating roster.
* Must have a current Queensland RSA.
* Must have Food Safety Handling Certificate (from either unit SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006).
* Possession of a current RMLV certification - highly regarded, but not essential.
* Experience with Micros POS highly desirable.
* Most of all, you will need to be a positive, can-do, team player with a fantastic work ethic.
