Pig Farm Attendant Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Pig Farm Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and wellbeing of our pigs.
* Animal care: You will be responsible for feeding, monitoring, and caring for our pigs on a daily basis.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical fitness and a strong commitment to animal welfare. We provide training for all new staff members, so prior experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Feeding and monitoring the health of our pigs
2. Carrying out regular health checks and administering treatments as needed
3. Maintaining clean pens, equipment, and facilities to prevent disease
4. Recording animal health and production data accurately
5. Learning and applying biosecurity and safety practices to ensure the health and wellbeing of our animals and staff
Requirements
1. Strong commitment to animal welfare and biosecurity

3. Availability to work weekends and public holidays when needed
4. Physical fitness comfortable with hands-on farm work
