About the role
1. Technical responsibility for a Pega system used for a large infrastructure project, this includes data governance and quality, system enhancements, process improvement, reporting, document management processes, process mapping and user management
2. Identify, design, and implement internal system improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
3. Build and maintain the system to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses, making data available for analysis and reporting.
4. Monitor data pipelines and systems for issues, troubleshoot and resolve data-related problems in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
5. Maintain detailed documentation of data engineering processes, data models, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing
6. Work collaboratively within a dynamic fast paced environment
7. Managing the expectations of a wide range of stakeholders and resolving contentious issues within tight timeframes where there are conflicting priorities and expectations.
8. Contribute to the capability and culture uplift in data governance
9. Data models, database design development, data mining and developing Power BI dashboards.
To besuccessful in this role you will have demonstrated experience covering:
10. Deep technical experience in data governance
11. Technical depth to deliver data and analytical services including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and reporting.
12. Experience dealing with a diverse range of complex matters and highly conceptual issues, to recommend practical solution, often within limited timeframes
13. Strong ability to translate technical and complex information into digestible formats for a range of audiences
14. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage, influence and appropriately challenge stakeholders across a broad range of business functions
15. Proven experience in building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally and a sound knowledge of project development and delivery requirements with knowledge and experience specifically related to data governance.
16. Experience in analysing large and multiple sets of data and understanding trends, and trend analysis and methodologies.
17. Demonstrable expertise in application of relevant approaches and techniques for data evaluation, data modelling and forecasting.
18. Proficiency in Power BI report modelling and development
Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role startingat $139,787 base plus superannuation
