The opportunity
We are in the midst of implementing our Digital Roadmap Strategy across PSC, recently successfully migrating to Microsoft 365 at the end of 2025. We're now seeking an experience ICT Service Desk Team Leader to join our team on a permanent basis, assisting our team as they continue to undergo a rapid transformation across our technology space.
As ICT Service Desk Team Leader, you will play a vital role in administering Council's Information & Communication Technology infrastructure systems and services, through the ITIL Service Operation phase, and in providing ongoing specialist technical advice and analysis.
Within your team, you will support and mentor an ICT Support Officer Level 1 and two Senior ICT Support Officers, ensuring service levels are executed to a high standard across the organisation, supporting our internal stakeholders through their ICT needs.
* This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
* Base Salary Range: $93,424 to $109,907 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance
* You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

* Assist the ICT Operations Lead where required

* Proven experience in leading an ICT support function, including mentoring Level 1–2 staff and managing incident workflows within an ITIL-aligned environment.
* Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and Intune endpoint management.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows desktop, server environments and common networking protocols
