Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Medical Officer to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Possess or be eligible for full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrate at least 5 years' experience in delivering and managing emergency care, including sound clinical knowledge in Emergency Medicine.
* Exhibit high-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commit to teaching and junior medical staff supervision, consistent with contemporary best practice supervision standards.
* Display a high standard of professional behavior, modeling excellence for junior medical staff.
* Familiarize yourself with research concepts and commit to supporting basic, applied, or clinical research as required within the department.
Requirements:
Awarded Fellowship with FACRRM or FRACGP or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1997 is required to be considered.
