About the Role
Cornerstone College is seeking an experienced English teacher to teach across the Middle and Senior School. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design and implement engaging and purposeful teaching programs which allow students to build confidence, think critically and develop a love of learning. A deep understanding of differentiation and best practice in English is required for this role to ensure that all students are supported in their learning.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach Stage 1 and 2 English (Stage 2 English Literary Studies is desirable). A willingness to embrace innovation and to contribute to collaborative nature of the English Learning Area is required.
As part of our Teaching faculty, you will be expected to:
* Demonstrate excellence in all aspects of teaching
* Hold a current South Australian Teachers Registration
* Have a strong commitment to Christian education

* Be a genuine, enthusiastic and responsible team player, with a desire to work compassionately with students and alongside work colleagues
* Have (or be willing to obtain) a current Working with Children Check
* Have suitable qualifications, training and skills to match the role
