The Human Resources Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality aged care services by managing HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment and on boarding processes, playing a vital role in creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment that fosters productivity, engagement, and overall well-being, training coordination, compliance with aged care legislation, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment and on boarding processes.
Ensure Recruitment is in-line with ACCS policy, procedure and legislative requirements.
Support performance reviews and HR policy implementation.
OH&S compliance, injure management and return to work plans
Administration of OH&S systems.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with aged care legislation.
Organise and track mandatory training and professional development.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.
- Provide HR advice and interpretation of ACCS policies and procedures and Industrial Relations Legislation.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
Skills, qualifications and experience in Human Resources.
Knowledge of Fair Work legislation, and aged care compliance.
Outstanding people & communication skills, leadership and decision making skills.
Ability to work without supervision, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressure in a team environment.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and well-developed computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to identify problems and take corrective actions.
