About the role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is focused on driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard. It's a mix of strategy and hands-on engagement, with plenty of opportunity to make an impact in a growing, customer-focused organisation.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts within the manufacturing sector.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
* Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
* Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable outcomes.
* Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, marketing, production) to ensure alignment and delivery.
Skills & experience
* 3–5 years' experience in account management or sales, ideally in building supplies, manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
* Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
* Experience managing contracts, timelines, and customer requirements.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* A proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
