We are seeking a skilled Engineering Operations Technician to join our team of experts in software, hardware, and network engineering. Key Responsibilities:
">
* Review the management of routine and corrective maintenance on critical systems such as generators, UPSs, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, and more.
">
* Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
">
* Assist with design, implementation, commissioning, and build-out of new facilities.
">
* Create and implement projects to increase facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.
">
* Manage facility assets and provide infrastructure and inventory asset management.
">
* Oversee on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring work observes established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
">
* Collaborate with business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimise plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* Degree or technical certification (Military or Trade school).
">
* Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical engineering or technician experience in a critical environment.
">
* 2+ years of maintenance experience on mechanical or electrical equipment.
">
* Experience operating electrical or mechanical systems in a mission-critical environment (e.g., data centre, telecom).
">

Preferred Qualifications:
">
* Ability to participate in a 24x7 rotating shift roster.
">
* 2+ years of operations experience in a data centre or critical environment.
">
* Familiar with Service Management systems (Problem & Change).
">
* Business-level verbal and written communication skills.
